Recently I had the good fortune of collaborating with my friend David Fisher, About.com Candle & Soap Making Guide, to come up with some essential oil blends commemorating the Chinese Year of the Horse. David did most of the work. I got to chat with an old friend and an About.com link to my website. A pretty sweet deal if you ask me. You can read all about that project and see the blends here.
Before I knew exactly what he wanted though (which was several simple, more basic type blends for his readers) I came up with this somewhat complex not-so-basic blend. David called me an over-achiever. I called it fun!
And it's a really good blend I might add. I'm currently cleaning my bathroom with it. It chases away germs and odors like nobody's business. :)
My Not-So-Basic Year of the Horse Essential Oil Blend
6 parts lavender
4 parts 5X orange
2 parts bergamot
2 parts rose geranium
2 parts spearmint
1 part anise
1 part cinnamon bark
1 part patchouli
1 part cedarwood
