New Cure for the Swine Flu

Have you heard about the revolutionary new cure for the swine flu? It comes in an easy to use applicator and supplies are already running low. It's an oinkment. (sorry, I couldn't resist...but this story is just about as good as any)

What To Do About the Swine Flu

This whole swine flu thing just doesn't add up. While of course I'm saddened by the loss of life, 149 deaths doesn't exactly constitute a worldwide pandemic! And why are people only dying in Mexico? Most of the people haven't even been hospitalized here in America, but yet, the media is hyping this up like the biggest medical disaster since the bubonic plague. Then the President just happens to shake hands with someone who dies of swine flu the very next day? How strange is that? There are even some nasty reports that this particular strain is so novel that it had to be manufactured in a lab. Are they serious? I sure hope not! I believe there's more to this story than meets the eye, but who knows if we'll ever be privy to any it. In the meantime, please DO continue washing your hands frequently with natural antibacterial soap. Any of ours will do.

Twitter...who needs it?

The last thing I ever thought I'd do is join Twitter. I mean get real, who has time to be tweeting around all day long? I've got a business to run! But with each passing day, I'm seeing more and more respectable businesses joining Twitter and so finally...just yesterday...after my good friend Margie sent me an invitation...I took the plunge. (Scroll down to find my Twitter link on the side bar on the right.) I don't know if I'll ever find time to actually tweet much, but I figured I needed to at least secure my business name, if nothing else. This morning I ran across a link I'd saved a while back (ya know, just in case) entitled 27 Twitter Applications Your Small Business Can Use Today.

Hmmm...maybe there really IS something to this Twitter thing. After all, I've got a business to run.

Love Your Mother....(earth that is)

This is the most frequently published photograph in history; it's the last picture taken by a human from space and is the only photo we have in which the Earth is fully illuminated instead of partially shrouded in darkness. Just look at it. Who in their right mind could pollute and pillage this incredibly beautiful sphere? I'm afraid we're all guilty though.

On this day, and every day ... we can do better. We MUST do better. Love your Mother. Happy Earth Day.

Abolish the Federal Income Tax!
